Practical tips
- Prepare playlists before the session: one for exploration (soft), one for combat (intense), one for dramatic moments.
- Volume should be low — music accompanies, it doesn't compete with conversation.
- Change the music when the scene's tone changes. The audio shift signals to players that something important is happening.

Playing music on Discord
If you use Discord, you can play music with bots like Jockey or by sharing system audio. Set up a music bot in your server's voice channel so you can control playback during the session.

When less is more
Don't feel pressured to have music for every moment. Silence can be powerful for tense scenes. Start simple with one exploration playlist and one combat playlist, then expand as you get comfortable.
